Introducing Chat to Fill: Autofill, Just by Asking
What is Chat to Fill?
Regular one-click Autofill is great when you want your whole active profile dropped into a form. But not every form — and not every moment — is that simple. Maybe you want to fill out a job application using your "Freelance" profile instead of your default one. Maybe you just need one field fixed, not the whole page. Maybe you're not sure which field on a long form is even asking for what.
Chat to Fill handles all of that through conversation. Open the chat panel from the AnyForm side panel, type what you need, and AnyForm figures out the rest — right on the page you're already looking at.
How it works
Chat to Fill understands several kinds of requests, so you can be as specific or as general as you like:
- Fill this form with my work profile. AnyForm fills every field on the page using the profile you name — not just whichever one is currently active.
- Put my email in this field. Point at a single field and AnyForm fills just that one, without touching the rest of the form.
- Use Jordan's resume info for this. Pull details from any saved profile by name, mid-conversation.
- What is this field asking for? Not sure what a confusing field wants? Ask, and AnyForm explains it before you fill anything in.
Behind the scenes, AnyForm reads the structure of the page you're on, matches your request to the right fields — text inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns, all of it — and writes the values in for you using your saved profile data. It's the same privacy-respecting foundation as regular Autofill, just with a conversational layer on top so you're always in control of exactly what goes where.
Chat history is kept per-site, so if you're filling out several forms on the same domain, AnyForm remembers the context of your conversation as you go. Need a clean slate? Clear the chat for that site anytime.
Who it's for
Chat to Fill is built for anyone juggling more than one profile, or anyone who's hit a form messy enough that a single "Autofill" button doesn't quite cut it — freelancers switching between clients, job seekers tailoring applications, or anyone who just prefers to ask rather than click around.
Chat to Fill is available on our Starter and Pro plans, with an expanded version on Pro for more advanced, multi-step requests. If you're on the Basic plan, you'll see a quick prompt to upgrade the first time you try it.
Try it out
Chat to Fill lives right in your AnyForm side panel — look for the chat icon next to the regular Autofill button. Next time a form gives you pause, skip the manual entry and just ask.
